Job description

 

The goal of the strategic partnerships function is to drive revenue for the business by extending AdsWizz products into new verticals and creating added value for existing AdsWizz clients. In this role, you will develop the business strategy for Ad Sales, technology and strategic partnerships. You will work closely with our Business and Solution teams in successfully expanding our strategic partnerships.

This position will be based in San Mateo, CA but with regular travel. The role will report directly to the VP Demand Partnership US.

 
 

Specific Job Responsibilities include:

 

  • Achieve revenue objectives through Ad Networks and Sales Partners
  • Develop a strategy for growing AdsWizz network of strategic partners with a focus on ad sales, ad networks, and complementary technology providers
  • Work cross functionally within AdsWizz to understand partnership impact on our products and services, and gain internal support for new initiatives
  • Serve as an advocate for partners at AdsWizz and identify areas for growth via partnerships
  • Cultivate relationships with partners, optimize their performance and identify additional business opportunities to expand partnership revenues
  • Lead the entire process from identifying new partners, modeling revenue opportunities, contract negotiations and pre/post partner implementation
  • Identify and communicate internally new market requirements through translating customer needs and gathering an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape and business priorities

 
 

Job Requirements

 

  • BA/BS degree from a leading US or International University. MBA preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience including 3-5 years of related business development experience in a digital media, mobile app company, ad network and/or related start-up is strongly preferred
  • Existing, current relationships with technology decision makers at ad networks and media companies preferred with an in-depth knowledge of the online advertising and programmatic space
  • Passion for, and deep understanding of digital media monetization products and trends, strong knowledge of performance advertising and yield optimization
  • Impressive ability to negotiate deals, think strategically, and understand complex, nuanced product issues
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally), to achieve key deliverables
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
