As a Senior Business Controller, your main responsibilities will be:

 

Commercial finance analysis:

– Analyzes monthly variation of income and expense accounts versus budget / forecast;

– Closely monitors performance of major projects vs. budget/ forecasts and prepares dedicated management reports including recommendations;

– Collaborates with business to investigate and explain actual performance and proposes measures to adjust deviations from budget / forecast;

– Evaluates and formulates recommendations for enhancing the budget development process and budget documents

– Provides support in managing the budget in order to maintain expenditure control;

 

Budget / Forecasts coordination:

– Manages, coordinates, and participates in the development of the annual budget;

– Prepares and transmits appropriate templates used in the budgeting / forecasting process by all concerned departments;

– Actively works together with the business in the preparation of the budget/ forecasts;

– Reviews, proposes adjustments and consolidates the budget / forecasts prepared by business;

– Examines budget / forecasts estimates for accuracy and compliance with procedures and regulations in force;

– Consolidates the data for budget / forecast presentation and also provides an overview of the Company’s financial status

– Participates in budget / forecasts meetings;

– Prepares the budget / forecasts management presentations;

 

Specific Job Requirements:

– 3 – 4 years minimum relevant exposure within a complex business

– Retail experience is a plus

– Commercial finance experience is a plus

– US GAAP knowledge is a plus

– Sarbanes–Oxley Act experience is a plus

– Prior budgeting and reporting experience

– Bachelor degree in Finance

– Fluent in English

– Proficient MS Office Skills

– Cost and budget management

– Analytical thinking and very good organizational skills

– Goal and results oriented

– High level of commitment and accountability to get the job done

– Pro-active team player, able to work independently
