AdsWizz Inc. (“AdsWizz,” “we”, or “us”) is a technology provider, offering online radio and video publishers and advertisers the ability to get to know their audience by providing precise session-based measurements. Our customers use our solutions to deliver relevant online advertisements into their streams.

The following sets forth the privacy practices and policy (“Privacy Policy”) related to the business we operate. It covers all data on website visitors/listeners that we collect for the purpose of delivering and enhancing our services. We are committed to protecting consumer privacy by informing you of what information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we may share it. We adhere to the Privacy Principles adopted by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

For those of you residing in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), we adhere to the European Parliament’s General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016 (“GDPR”). Under GDPR, we are a data processor acting on behalf of publisher (the data controllers). This Privacy Policy will provide you information on the processing of your data under GDPR. What information do we collect to perform our services?

We collect or receive data from our customers (publishers/advertisers) in order to learn about the ads you might be interested in. This data includes but is not limited to browser identifier, wireless carrier, IP address, device type (website player, smartphone apps, media player, etc.) and browsing information. We may collect information about your mobile device, including, for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, type of mobile browser, software and file names, versions, preferred language, advertising identifiers, device motion and accelerometer information, real-time location (based on information provided by your device OS), and mobile network information.

We receive information about consumers from third parties to enable targeted advertising on the website(s) and application(s) that we support. The collection and use of that data is governed by the privacy policy and legal terms of the data collector and the website using the data; it is not governed by AdsWizz.

We also acknowledge that cross-device data collection is taking place.  The purpose of this cross-device data collection is for the purpose of enhanced targeting in the aim of creating a better product for our customers and a more relevant listening experience.  To opt out of this data collection on browsers and in mobile devices, you may visit https://www.tapad.com/privacy-policy.

We also measure the exposure to online advertising campaign: number of impressions, number of clicks, numbers of users exposed, percentage of ad content played. We retain information on the ads that we served to you on a website and we reuse that information to deliver new ads when you visit another website on which we may also serve ads. We collect information such as your reaction to the ad (skip the ad, click on the ad) for statistical reporting purposes or to limit serving you additional ads.

Furthermore, we collect and use only non-PII that does not directly or in combination with other information identify you as an individual. We may also obtain non-PII from third party data vendors that receive such non-PII pursuant to their own privacy policies. We do not collect PII via our advertising technology. None of the information we collect to provide our services is meant to be traced back to a specific individual.

For those of you residing in the EEA, we strictly follow the instructions of our data controllers, we do not collect data from the on-line service users directly. From the data controllers,we may collect and process online identifiers, such as your IP address and adverting ID. We do not collect or process your name, physical address, email address, phone number or other sensitive data. The personal data that we process is passed to us from the data controllers, the publishers, based on the services they have engaged us for.

How do we use this information?

We process the data to find elements that will help us determine which products/services could be relevant to you and to improve the quality of the ads you’ll be served. For example, we may use the geo-location data to determine potential likelihood to listen to an ad or we may use the data collected to prevent the same ads to be served to you repeatedly.

We also use the information we collect to maintain, improve and develop new services. We finally deliver a list of anonymous user identifiers and produce reports and analytics for our business partners.

Disclosure of information

We share anonymous user identifiers and aggregated information with established third party publishers/advertisers such as the number of users who visited a publisher site, or the number of users who listened to a particular ad, strictly for serving advertisements. For those of you in the EEA, personal data, as defined by GDPR, may be shared with data sub-processors if instructed and permitted to do so by the data controller. Accordingly, this information may be shared with: demand-side platforms, data management platforms, ad networks, and analytics platforms.

We may share information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of AdsWizz if we have a good-faith belief that we are obligated to do so by law or as necessary to protect ourselves or others.

We may allow others to provide audience measurement and analytics services for us, to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet, and to track and report on the performance of those advertisements. These entities may use their own cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and other technologies to identify your device when you visit our site and use our Services, as well as when you visit other online sites and services.

We may transfer information in our possession to a successor entity in connection with a corporate change in control such as a merger or acquisition or the sale of company assets.

Lastly, if you are located in the EEA, these data transfers may occur outside the EEA. If such data transfer is outside the EEA, we will ensure that the necessary contractual clauses ensuring privacy protections are in place, such as the EU Model Clauses or equivalent.
